With a major hurricane bearing down on Louisiana, and Mississippi Port Fourchon stands to see serious impact by hurricane Katrina. One Sixth of U.S. oil and gas supply comes through Port Fourchon in Louisiana. Oil platforms in the Gulf will also almost certainly see some kind of disruption.
